Hey and welcome to the East Coast Fit Blog!!! Easts Coast Fit came into existence when my husband pushed me to create it. He saw and understood my deep love for fitness and my desire to help others who were facing the same struggles I had overcome. With his encouragement, East Coast Fit was born.
Growing up, I struggled with self image. I saw myself as this or that and was unhappy with all of it. I battled with horrible food habits, eating disorders, diet pills, and every quick fix diet that came along. I tried it all and was at my wits end. Then one day, I guess the light bulb came on. What if I do this the right way. I mean, what if I really dedicate my time to building my body instead of destroying it. What if I learn how and what to eat? What if I workout? What if I don't quit? What is my body capable of? What is the BEST my body can do? All of these questions flooded my mind and I decided to go all in and find the answers.
I'm here to tell you that two years later, I haven't quit. I give my workouts 110% every time. I'm still learning what to eat and finding ways to make my choices healthier and healthier. My body has came so far, but at this point, there's no end in site as to what it can do. I don't think my journey will ever end, because no matter how good I get, I can always improve.
My goal is to encourage other women to dig deep and become the best they can be. To watch a woman fall in love with her body and the fitness process is amazing. There is nothing like being comfortable in your own skin.
